Bladder sling question?

I had a bladder sling done five days ago and I can feel the sling on the inside of me, kind of scratchy. It is so low you can see it with a mirror and I can feel it when I wipe. Shouldn't this be further up? I just don't know what do think about this. Does anyone know if this is normal?
