Ringback tone problem?

So I recently purchased another ringback tone from the Verizon Wireless Media Store. But whenever someone will call me, it says "Please enjoy the music while your party is reached" but it makes a really loud annoying "scratchy" noise... no song... does anyone know why? thanks:)
