What college coarse should i take?

I have always wanted to be a fire fighter but I don’t know what course I should take to best suit that goal. Additionally I have wanted to go to an Air force collage such as The Citadel or Air Force Academy. Also I at first was considering taking a civil engineering course, but I’m not so sure any more. I would really like your help. And do you think Civil engineering was a good choice.
