DO I HAVE STREP THROAT ?!?!?!?

my little cousin has strep throat and i shared a few drinks with him yesterday (dont worry it was kool aid ;)) anyway, my throat felt a little scratchy, but not really painful. i looked in my throat and i can see my tonsils, but i can't see any white pus. my throat is a little red, too. i also have a bit of a head ache and stomach pains, and my tounge is like a whitish sandy colour. i have diabetes, so it could of ben easier to contract this. could i be in the early stages of strep throat ? my throat is feeling a little worse as i type this.
